Lebensraum Spechthausen
Lebensraum Spechthausen is an association and community space in the former Spechthausen paper mill near Eberswalde. It sees itself as a space for free, creative self-expression and mindful encounters: from yoga, Pilates and meditation to women’s circles, a community café and full moon rituals.
Starting point
Where the project began
More than 15 regular courses and events from different providers under one roof: that calls for a website that brings the programme together clearly and keeps it up to date. Visitors should see at a glance what is happening when, and outside organisers should be able to discover the place as a venue for hire.
Approach & result
What it became
The website puts the events calendar with the weekly courses at the centre and portrays the range from bodywork to community formats. Room hire for outside organisers has its own section, and ways into the community, such as the members’ group, are clearly shown. The site works as a lively shop window for the place.
