We want our website to be usable by as many people as possible, regardless of their abilities, assistive technologies or device. For us, accessibility is not only a legal requirement but part of good design. This statement describes the current status and how you can reach us.
Our commitment
We align this website with the recognised standards for digital accessibility, in particular the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA and the European standard EN 301 549. We regard accessibility as an ongoing task: we review and improve the website regularly.
Current status
During development, we pay attention to the following, among other things:
- a clear, consistent structure with properly marked-up headings and regions
- full keyboard operability, with a visible focus indicator
- sufficient contrast between text and background
- meaningful alternative texts for images that are relevant to the content
- a “Skip to content” link at the top of the page
- respect for the system setting for reduced motion: animations are then reduced automatically
- clear language and easily readable font sizes
Known limitations
Despite careful work, we cannot rule out that some content is not yet fully accessible. If you encounter a barrier, we would be grateful if you let us know. We endeavour to resolve reported issues promptly.
Reporting barriers and contact
If any content is not accessible to you or you need information in a different format, please get in touch with us. We will help and look for a solution.
