The protection of your data is important to us. This website has been built to collect as little data as possible. Analytics and marketing services are only loaded after you have given your explicit consent in the cookie banner. Without your consent, the website does not set any tracking cookies and does not connect to any such services. Below we explain which data we process, for what purpose and on what legal basis.

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
Philipp Niedrich

Your rights
With regard to your personal data, you have the following rights against us:
- Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
- Right to withdraw consent given (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
To exercise these rights, an informal message to the address given above is sufficient. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is:
The Brandenburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Access to Information (Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und für das Recht auf Akteneinsicht Brandenburg, LDA Brandenburg), Stahnsdorfer Damm 77, 14532 Kleinmachnow, Germany.
Hosting
This website is hosted on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. On our behalf, Hetzner processes the data required to deliver and securely operate the website. This is based on a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the reliable and secure provision of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Server log files
When you access this website, the server automatically collects information transmitted by your browser and stores it in what are known as server log files:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- name and URL of the file retrieved
- amount of data transferred
- the previously visited page (referrer), if transmitted
- browser and operating system used
We do not attribute this data to any specific person. It is used to deliver the content, to ensure system stability and for security purposes (defence against attacks). The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The log files are deleted or anonymised after a short period.
Encryption
For security reasons, this website uses TLS/SSL encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” in the address bar of your browser. This means that the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Fonts
All fonts used on this website are embedded locally on our server and delivered from there. There is no connection to third-party servers (such as Google Fonts), and no data is transferred to third parties in the process.
Cookies and consent
We set technically necessary cookies that are required to operate the website on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). This includes a cookie that stores your choice in the cookie banner.
All further services for audience measurement and marketing (see below) are loaded exclusively with your consent. For this purpose, we use a consent management tool (Klaro), through which you decide on your first visit which services are permitted. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the link in the footer. The legal basis for cookies and services that require consent is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG, the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act).
Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Tag Manager is not itself an analytics tool and does not store any personal data; it manages the services listed below (such as Google Analytics and Google Ads) and controls when they are triggered. Tag Manager is only loaded after you have given your consent. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Google Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to analyse how the website is used, for example which pages are viewed and how visitors reach the website. In the process, your IP address is truncated and is not combined with other data held by Google, so that it cannot be directly attributed to you.
A transfer of data to Google LLC in the USA cannot be ruled out. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; in addition, standard contractual clauses of the European Commission are in place. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the cookie settings in the footer.
Google Ads
With your consent, we use Google Ads with conversion tracking and remarketing, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. This allows us to measure whether a visit to our website resulted from a Google ad (conversion tracking) and to show relevant ads to visitors to our website again at a later time (remarketing). For this purpose, cookies are set and pseudonymous identifiers are processed.
Here, too, data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA, safeguarded by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the cookie settings in the footer.
Contact and forms
On this website, you can contact us via various forms (the contact form as well as the forms for a demo, a website audit, a strategy call and the AI potential check). In doing so, we process the data you enter in the respective form, for example your name, your email address, optionally your phone number, your message and your selection.
The data is transmitted to our own form service, which runs on our server at Hetzner in Germany. From there, the information is forwarded to us by email so that we can process your enquiry. No external form service provider is involved.
To protect against automated misuse (spam), the form service uses technical measures (a hidden verification field and a limit on the frequency of requests). In the process, the IP address is processed briefly. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in operation free from misuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The legal basis for processing your form data is the initiation or performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We store the data until your enquiry has been fully dealt with. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
Email communication
For our email mailboxes, we use Google Workspace, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. If you send us an email or we reply to an enquiry from you by email, the content of this communication is processed and stored in our mailbox hosted there. This is based on a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in reliable business communication (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or the initiation or performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
No automated decision-making
No automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.
Changes to this privacy policy
We will amend this privacy policy as soon as changes to the website or to the services used make this necessary. The version currently published here applies.
