Apollo7: how we build what works

Clarity. Depth. Impact. Good websites don’t come from intuition or gut feeling. They come from a process that creates clarity, simplifies decisions and makes results predictable.

The seven steps of Apollo7

Discovery & strategy

Clarity before creativity

It all starts with understanding, not design. In the discovery process we work through a structured Offer Messaging Workbook together to develop a sharper picture of your brand: values, tone, audiences, positioning and what sets you apart.

We define what your website really needs to achieve, which primary conversion goal it pursues, which funnels exist, which platforms bring in traffic and where untapped potential lies.

The result is a strategic foundation that underpins every step that follows: your website won’t just look good, it will be focused, measurable and meaningful.

Wireframe, UX & copy

Structure makes it work

The wireframe is created in Figma, where we design every page as a functional sketch. This lets us see the project “from above” early on: navigation, user flow, conversion paths, calls to action. Using comments in Figma, we refine the structure together, quickly and efficiently, with every step easy to follow.

Copywriting is a key part of this step, because copy and structure belong together. We align words and user guidance so that every section says clearly what it needs to.

If you like, we take on all the copywriting: to the point, on brand and written to convert.

Design / UI

Strategy takes shape

The design is created in Figma too, not in code. That allows fast iterations, design reviews and adjustments in real time.

We start with a mood board that sets the visual direction: colours, typography, imagery. Building on that, we create a consistent design system that makes your brand clear and recognisable.

Everything follows what we learned in step 1: strategy, audience, brand identity. We draw on inspiration deliberately, but the result is always bespoke. Design here isn’t an end in itself; it’s clarity in visual form.

Development

Clean, scalable, built to last

For new projects we mainly develop with Astro and Tailwind, versioned on GitHub: a modern, lean foundation without the stress of plugin maintenance. That means outstanding performance, security and longevity, and thanks to our setup the site is also easy to maintain with the help of AI. Where WordPress with Automatic CSS and Etch is the better choice, we build with it to the same standard of craft.

We put a lot of weight on a structured content architecture: central data sources and reusable components instead of endless page lists. That makes maintenance, scaling and SEO easier. Code output, accessibility and PageSpeed follow current best practice.

We develop in line with the GDPR, with clean consent management and legally sound texts from eRecht24. The result is a website that is technically clean, legally sound and easy for the client to maintain.

Marketing

Visibility takes it out into the world

As soon as the site is online, the second part of the mission begins: being seen. Based on the strategy from step 1, we plan and implement marketing activities that fit your goals: SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads or a combination of these.

We make sure tracking is clean (Google Analytics or Plausible), set up campaigns and manage them on an ongoing basis. Every activity comes with a clear maintenance plan, so results can be checked and adjustments made at any time.

Management

A partner at your side

Once your site is live, we stay with you for the long term. Regular updates, security checks, backups, performance monitoring and GDPR adjustments keep everything stable and secure.

At the same time, we look after ongoing marketing activities: analysing data, optimising ads, fine-tuning content. That keeps your website alive and relevant.

If you wish, we also take care of all content changes (copy, images, structure) so that your SEO and campaign results are preserved. Our recommendation: when a website works, don’t leave anything about it to chance.

AI automation

Quiet helpers, visible results

We build our own workflows that take work off your plate in the background. Enquiries, data preparation, content pipelines: whatever repeats runs automatically.

From your existing workflows we work out where automation really saves time. No technology for technology’s sake. Every automation stays transparent and under your control, right down to your data.

That frees up time for what really matters, and your system keeps working even when you’re not.

How we work together

Good collaboration needs structure

That’s why we work with Factro, a central project space where everything comes together: tasks, deadlines, files, feedback and decisions.

Instead of scattered emails or chaotic messenger chats, there’s a single “source of truth”. Everything is traceable, nothing gets lost, and everyone knows what’s next.

Everything in one place

  • Clear to-dos with owners and deadlines
  • Documents, links and drafts in one place
  • Feedback and decisions properly documented
  • Milestones and schedules that keep everyone on track

Especially on larger projects, this brings a great deal of calm, transparency and efficiency. Everyone can focus on what really matters: good work. Professional websites aren’t made in chaos. They’re made within a clear framework that makes decisions easy.

Frequently asked questions

What you should know about Apollo7

Why do you need a fixed process at all?

Because good websites don’t happen by chance. Apollo7 creates clarity, reduces complexity and makes sure everyone involved knows why we’re taking each step. That saves time, avoids misunderstandings and leads to better results.

Is Apollo7 suitable for every project?

Yes. The scope can vary, but the structure stays the same. Whether it’s a small project or a complex rebrand, a clear process always provides direction and quality.

How much time do I need to set aside as a client?

Less than you think. But at a few key points we need your input: discovery, feedback and approvals need your attention so we can make the right decisions. Everything else runs smoothly and in a structured way without you having to step in.

Can I skip individual steps?

Yes and no. Apollo7 is deliberately designed as one connected system. If a step is missing, the result suffers. Only marketing, management and AI automation can be left out on smaller projects. As a rule, though, we don’t recommend it.

What does working together look like in practice?

We use Factro, so there’s one central place for tasks, feedback, files and deadlines. No email chaos, no back and forth. Everything stays organised and easy to follow.

What happens after the site goes live?

The website isn’t “finished”: that’s when it starts to work. That’s why there’s the management and optimisation stage: updates, security, performance, SEO/ads, monitoring and further development. Results are a process, not a project.

How much does a project with you cost?

That depends on the scope. We don’t charge by the hour but by the value and complexity of the project. Working with us isn’t about the cheapest solution. It’s about a result that’s built to last and reliably works for you.

What happens if I need changes to my website later?

Whatever suits you best. The easiest option is a maintenance contract: you drop us a quick line, we make the change and it costs you no effort at all. If you’d rather do it yourself, you can edit content directly in the CMS.

We’re also working on our Apollo Portal, where you’ll soon be able to change content simply by chatting, safely and without any technical knowledge.
