Excel Crew develops tailor-made Excel tools, automations and web apps for medium-sized and large companies. Instead of off-the-shelf software, they create bespoke solutions for controlling, HR, production and other departments. The aim: Excel tools that work for the company, not the other way round.

Where the project began
A B2B offering that takes some explaining needs a website that makes abstract services tangible. Custom tool development can’t be shown as a product catalogue; it has to be conveyed through use cases, example projects and a project process that is easy to follow. At the same time, the site had to build trust, because clients are handing internal processes and data to an outside firm.
Approach & result
What it became
The website organises the offering by technology, field of application and department and makes it concrete through example projects. A clearly described project process and the consultants’ hands-on experience build trust, while commitments such as unencrypted source code and no subscriptions address common reservations. The site leads from first orientation to a concrete project enquiry.
